DAS-Based Perimeter Intrusion Detection System Overview
Spectron Group's Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) Perimeter Intrusion Detection System
Benefits with Spectron
- Custom-Tailored Perimeter Security
- AI-Integrated Surveillance
- Resilient Against Failures
- Drainage & ILS Zone Coverage
Key Metrics
Spectron Group's airport PIDS system is benchmarked against the highest industry standards, offering unparalleled coverage across variable terrains and facility types. With up to 3 meters of FiberMesh height and 15°–45° outward angles, the system can detect physical contact, climb attempts, or intrusions in real time. AI-enhanced CCTV cameras, dual-layer hardware zoning, and redundant sensor networks ensure continuous surveillance, even in the event of partial system damage. Real-time alerts are centralized via a dual-screen Command & Control Center, reducing incident response times by over 40% and improving perimeter incident detection accuracy by 95%.
95%+ intrusion detection accuracy with dual-layer sensors
AI surveillance with facial recognition and real-time alerts
Dual-monitor Command Center for centralized security control
Process / Working
The Spectron PIDS system functions through a multi-tiered security architecture. FiberMesh sensors are installed along or outside the perimeter wall—independent of existing fencing infrastructure. These detect even minor contact or climbing attempts and instantly trigger alerts in the Command & Control Center (CCC). The AI-powered CCTV system simultaneously tracks intruder movement, activates facial recognition, and coordinates response through integrated alarms. Zoning the hardware ensures system resilience—any breach is contained within its zone, maintaining full operational capability elsewhere. In sensitive zones like ILS areas or drainage paths, specialized configurations prevent interference and enable proactive security enforcement.
